An entrance has independent effect on the  residence of the house. Effects of an entrance are different from those of a bathroom.If both are not placed according to MahaVastu,it creates problems. The notion that the bathroom and entrance door made close together as part of architectural design causes vastu dosha is not always true.                Interestingly, the fact is that if made according to MahaVastu, the main entrance and the toilet will always be next to each other.
